  1. Per each learner:3
    • One Classmate portable computer.
    • One set of full-range headphones.
    • One robotics kit. 4
  2. Per each center:
    • One classroom with infrastructure for 12 children with laptops (desks, chairs, electricity and web access).
    • One computer for the facilitator.
    • One server.
    • One projector and screen.
    • One sound system which can mix 4 different input signals.
    • One printer.
    • One scanner.
    • Adequate cables for all the above equipment.

Time

  1. Preparation
    • Infrastructure set-up: 3 days.
    • Laptop configuration: 1 week for every 20 computers.
    • Server configuration and testing: 5 days.
    • Training of facilitators: 2 weeks, 6 hours per day.
  2. Workshops
    • Total duration: 15 weeks.
    • Frequency: 3 sessions per week.
    • Duration of each session: 3 hours.5
  3. Evaluation
    • One day to receive feedback from facilitators.
    • Four days to evaluate the results of the workshop.

  3. All materials used by the project beneficiaries, including the laptop computer, will be given to them as a donation once they show they're capable of using them. The criteria for this may be to complete certain modules sucessfully, selected according to the material in question.
  4. Arduino board, resistor, 2 light-sensitive resistors, 1 distance sensor, 2 9V DC motors, 2 servomotors, 1 l239 motor controller, 2 mossfet transistors (model to be specified), 1 accelerometer, 1 protoboard, USB Arduino cable, Arduino power cable and/or Arduino battery pack, scissors, glue,...
